Diesel Particulate Filter The diesel particulate filter (DPF) traps particulate matter (PM) to remove it from the exhaust gas. When the trapped PM amount exceeds a certain degree, the PM is burned by catalyst, maintaining high DPF filtration efficiency. DENSO’s durable DPF has high PM filtration efficiency with low exhaust gas pressure drop. DENSO can customize the DPF for engines to work most efficiently.
