DENSO provides various pressure sensors including an atmospheric pressure sensor, brake booster sensor, MAPS, exhaust gas pressure sensor, refrigerant pressure sensor, and common rail pressure sensor.
DENSO Technologies – Leading the World
- In 2003, DENSO introduced the world’s smallest MAPS that has a sensor and a processing circuit directly mounted to a case. The sensor chip is covered with a newly developed gel to accurately detect pressure even when the sensor surface is dirty.
Benefits and Features
- Small size and high reliability
- The MAPS has a sensor and a processing circuit directly mounted to the case, resulting in small size.
- The processing circuit is integrated with a noise filter for static electricity and electromagnetic waves, minimizing the number of connections.
- High detection accuracy
- The sensor chip, covered by a newly developed gel, accurately detects pressure even when its surface is dirty.
- The output has a ratio property relative to the power source voltage.
- Easy installation
- The MAPS can be directly installed in the intake manifold.
